Winchester – M3 J9 Improvements


As part of the M3 Junction 9 improvements near Winchester, Carney Construction delivered a major excavation package to enable the installation of new precast culverts. Approximately 4,000m³ of predominantly chalk material was removed within a sheet-piled excavation, requiring careful sequencing, access planning and control of the working area.

Project Milestone West Midlands Viaduct


The West Midlands Viaduct programme involved 20 months of complex structural delivery, including 381 concrete pours, 3,443 tonnes of reinforcement and 22,179m³ of concrete. Strong planning and collaboration helped the team complete the final Pier Head and remaining wall ahead of programme.
